How do I get a design for my closet?

You’ve already taken the first step by visiting our website! Simply schedule a free in-home consultation with one of our Design Consultants. They’ll visit your home, take measurements, discuss your goals, and create a design plan and proposal that fits your needs and budget. From there, we’ll fine-tune the design, choose materials and finishes, and schedule installation.

Do you design spaces other than closets?

Yes — we design custom storage solutions for all areas of your home, including garages, pantries, laundry rooms, home offices, and media centers. We also offer Murphy and wall beds, perfect for multi-purpose or guest rooms. Explore our project gallery for inspiration.

How much does a custom closet cost?

Every project is unique. Pricing depends on factors such as material finish, number of drawers, accessories, and overall design complexity. Our pricing is transparent and competitive, and includes tax, professional installation, and a lifetime warranty. Your Design Consultant can guide you toward options that align with your budget and goals.

Do you offer discounts?

We believe in honest, upfront pricing—no fake discounts or hidden fees. Our proposals include everything: design, tax, professional installation, and warranty. We occasionally offer seasonal specials, so it’s always worth asking your designer if one is available.

Do you have a showroom?

Yes! We have two by-appointment-only showrooms where you can explore materials, finishes, and design options in person. Please call our office to schedule a visit—contact information and addresses are listed below.

Are your installers subcontractors?

No. All installation crews are full-time Classy Closets employees, many with over 10–20 years of experience. They take pride in their craftsmanship and treat every home with care and respect.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes, we offer a lifetime warranty for the original homeowner. If any issue arises from our manufacturing or installation, we’ll repair or replace it at no charge. For other types of wear or damage, we’re still happy to help—just material and trip fees may apply.

How long does installation take?

Installation time depends on project size, complexity, and access. We always aim to complete your project efficiently while maintaining our high-quality standards. Your designer can provide an estimated lead time during your consultation—lead times may vary throughout the year based on seasonal demand.

Can you remove my existing closet system?

Yes! We can remove your old system on the same day as your installation (complimentary for most projects) or earlier for a small fee. We’ll also haul away the materials. We don’t repaint or retexture walls, but we can patch small holes with spackle and client-provided paint if needed. For best results, we recommend having walls prepped and painted before installation.

What materials do you use?

Our standard construction uses ¾” industrial-grade particleboard with a durable melamine (TFL) surface, available in over 90 colors and textures. We also offer paint-grade MDF, wood veneer, and solid wood. All materials meet or exceed U.S. EPA standards for safety and emissions.

Are the holes on the panels visible?

Our systems include adjustable shelf holes as a standard feature. If you prefer a cleaner aesthetic, we can modify or reduce the hole pattern for a more seamless appearance.

What are your hardware options?

We offer a wide variety of handles, knobs, and push-to-open systems. You can also provide your own hardware if you have a specific style in mind—our team will ensure proper installation and fit.

What door styles do you offer?

We provide a full range of door styles, including: TFL slab doors (grain-matched vertically), custom paint-grade, stained, or solid wood doors. Your Design Consultant will help you select a look that complements your home’s design and budget.

Do you work with builders, interior designers, and contractors?

Yes! We frequently collaborate with builders, general contractors, and interior designers to deliver seamless, high-quality storage solutions for residential and multi-unit projects.

Do you provide 3D renderings or design previews?

Yes! We use a professional CAD system that allows us to create detailed 3D renderings and plans. This helps you visualize your design before production begins, ensuring every detail is perfect.

What areas do you service?

We proudly serve San Diego County, Orange County, and select areas of Riverside County. If you’re outside these regions, contact our office—we’ll let you know if service is available in your area.
